We came for a late dinner and got the kalguksu and mandu to share. The mandu was very filled and went well with their punchy kimchi. Unfortunately, the noodles were overcooked and the broth was not as satisfying as I had hoped. The noodles also did not taste homemade. In my experience, this was not comparable to the MDK in Korea. For us, it was fine for a casual and quick meal.

SO GOOD!!! Came here around 2:45pm on a Friday afternoon and was seated immediately. Absolutely love this spot for authentic Korean noodles, especially the knife cut noodles and cold noodles (hits on a hot summer day). Both their red and white kimchis are so yummy, not too sour nor bitter and balanced amount of spice. Service is super fast and efficient, one of the ajummas even asked if I wanted an apron for my white shirt so I could go full big back mode, and she brought one out for me from the kitchen. So sweet!! Highly recommend and cannot wait to come back! You can park in the garage across the street and they'll validate it for you. You'll still need to pay $2 for 90 min, but makes parking easy and less stressful even though there are still street parking options around.

A classic Korean noodle and dumpling spot right in the heart of Koreatown. Prices are reasonable and portions are hefty. I got a giant bowl of Kal-gukusu and an order of pork & crab dumplings which ended up being quite a substantial lunch for not too much cash. Definitely a classic that I had overlooked for awhile. I wish I went earlier!

Huge portions and the spicy broth is legit spicy. We also got an order of the Kimchi dumplings which were also great. Solid place to get a reasonably priced meal.
